THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite is a global self-service ticketing and experience technology platform that serves a community of hundreds of thousands of event creators in nearly 180 countries every year. Since its inception, Eventbrite has been at the center of the experience economy, transforming the way people organize and attend events. The company was founded by Julia Hartz, Kevin Hartz and Renaud Visage, with a vision to build a self-service platform that would make it possible for anyone to create and sell tickets to live experiences. The Eventbrite platform provides an intuitive, secure, and reliable service that enables creators (aka event planners) to plan and execute their live and online events, whether it’s an annual culinary festival attracting thousands of foodies, a professional webinar, a weekly yoga workshop, or a youth dance class. Creators have been the central focus for Eventbrite, with over 200 million tickets distributed to more than 4 million experiences last year, Eventbrite is where people all over the world discover new things to do or new ways to do more of what they love.

As a Product Designer II, you will help shape experiences that support our creators in bringing their events to life. You’ve honed your craft and are ready to take on more complex product challenges. Your role will be a balance of deep user understanding, strong interaction and visual design, and close cross-functional collaboration.

You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and research teams to deliver thoughtful, user-centered solutions across a range of features. You’ll contribute to a culture of craft, curiosity, and continuous learning—both through your individual work and by supporting more junior teammates.

YOU WILL

Design Execution & Iteration: Create clean, intuitive, and scalable interface designs across multiple devices and screen sizes. You’re able to push fidelity when needed and are comfortable iterating based on user feedback and product goals.

Problem Solving with Users in Mind: Apply user insights to design solutions that improve usability, reduce friction, and align with both user and business needs. You're beginning to identify broader patterns and anticipate edge cases.

End-to-End Ownership: Work across the full design process—from early discovery and user flows to wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, and interaction design. You'll own features and flows within larger surfaces, and ensure handoff to engineering is thoughtful and complete.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and researchers to define problems, scope solutions, and align on what success looks like. You help bring clarity and structure to ambiguous ideas.

Design Systems & Brand Integration: Use and contribute to our design system thoughtfully. You understand how to balance consistency with innovation, and can articulate rationale for visual and interaction decisions.

Prototyping: Use tools like Figma, Protopie, or Framer to prototype and validate design ideas. You are comfortable gathering feedback from peers and users, and incorporating that into your iterations.

Mentorship & Team Growth: While not a formal lead, you support the growth of Associate and Designer I teammates—whether through informal critiques, pair design sessions, or sharing best practices.

THE SKILLSET

  • 3+ years of experience in digital product design

  • A portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, visual craft, and user-centered problem solving

  • Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Working knowledge of prototyping tools (e.g., Protopie, Framer, Rive, After Effects)

  • Experience applying UX principles to design scalable and intuitive digital experiences

  • Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback into iterations

  • Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with cross-functional partners Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

PAY TRANSPARENCY
