Product Design Team Lead
Role Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic Product Design Team Lead to shape and refine how our products look, feel, and perform. You’ll champion user-centric design across our crypto analytics and macro-financial platforms, guiding both visual innovation and strategic usability at every product stage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the execution of the product design vision for Swissblock’s digital platforms.
- Own end-to-end design processes, from research through prototyping to usability-driven interface delivery.
- Mentor, manage, and inspire a growing design team—providing guidance, fostering growth, and encouraging creative excellence.
- Act as a bridge between Design, Product, Engineering, and Data Science teams to ensure tight alignment on UX, workflows, and feature priorities.
- Elevate Swissblock’s brand through polished, consistent, and compelling interaction design and visual storytelling.
- Incorporate data visualization best practices to transform complex financial and crypto data into intuitive and compelling visual - formats.
- Lead user research initiatives and usability testing to inform robust, data-backed design decisions.
Who You Are
- Experienced product design professional with a strong portfolio (data visualization and complex product interfaces are a plus).
- Background in fintech or crypto is a plus, but not mandatory — what matters most is your ability to learn fast and adapt.
- Mastery of tools like Figma, Adobe (PSD, Illustrator, Indesign), or similar UI/UX and prototyping platforms.
- Is a plus being proficiency with tools for creating video or animated content (e.g., After Effects, Adobe Animate, Blender, or similar), enabling you to communicate complex big data insights through motion and storytelling.
- Excellent communicator who can collaborate effectively across product, engineering, and research teams.
- Highly adaptable and flexible, comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Demonstrates strong ownership and proactivity — able to anticipate needs, take initiative, and push projects forward.
- Autonomous problem-solver who can propose creative, out-of-the-box solutions while staying aligned with business goals.
- Proven experience in elevating product design quality while mentoring team members and fostering a growth-oriented culture.
- A problem-solving mindset grounded in research, user empathy, and iterative validation.
- Exceptional communication skills, confidence in articulating design strategy, and influence across cross-functional teams.
