Job Description

Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.

Hello, hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!

Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.

Where and how you can work

Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a hub in San Francisco, which is now home to our US operations. We offer flexibility in how and where you work. We trust our Canvanauts to choose the balance that empowers them and their team to achieve their goals.

What you’d be doing in this role

As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.

We’re looking for a Product & Compete Enablement Manager to lead our efforts in product enablement and competitive readiness. This person will own the strategy and execution of enablement programs that help AEs, AMs, and BDMs confidently position Canva’s solutions, stay current on product innovation, and effectively differentiate against competitors. You’ll translate roadmap updates and competitive insights into actionable, field-ready training and assets that drive real impact on the ground.

This is a hands-on, global role that blends content creation, cross-functional collaboration, field communication, and enablement program design.

At the moment, this role is focused on:

Product Enablement Strategy

  • Partner with Product Marketing, Product, and Sales to define the right rhythm for product enablement across Canva’s GTM segments.

  • Translate product launches and roadmap updates into digestible, field-ready messaging and training paths.

  • Drive the adoption of new features and offerings by building campaigns, enablement sessions, and ongoing reinforcement loops.

Competitive Enablement Strategy

  • Maintain an up-to-date view of Canva’s top competitors and their positioning across key verticals and personas.

  • Design and run competitive readiness programs—including training, battlecards, objection handling, and roleplays.

  • Own the Competitive Intel Hub, ensuring resources are easily discoverable, trusted, and actionable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Competitive Intelligence, and Sales to gather insights and shape enablement needs.

  • Embed product and compete messaging into onboarding, sales plays, and major enablement moments (QBRs, kickoffs, etc.).

  • Partner with Enablement peers to ensure programs scale globally and are localized where needed.

Measurement & Operational Excellence

  • Define key success metrics for enablement initiatives (e.g., feature adoption, rep confidence, win rate impact).

  • Regularly review program effectiveness using Gong, Salesforce, feedback loops, and rep performance data.

  • Continuously iterate on materials, formats, and delivery methods to improve field impact.

You're probably a match if

  • 5–7+ years of experience in enablement, product marketing, or sales—ideally in a high-growth SaaS company.

  • Experience working on product launches, building demo flows, and competitive assets.

  • Excellent communicator and facilitator; confident leading virtual and in-person sessions.

  • Skilled at simplifying complex concepts into clear, compelling field-facing content.

  • Experience working with enablement platforms and tools (e.g., Gong, Salesforce, Guru, WorkRamp)

  • High attention to detail with a bias for action, creativity, and accountability.

About the team

The GTM Enablement team is a strategic partner to Canva’s global Sales and Success organization. We empower our GTM teams with the tools, training, and insights needed to drive consistent, high-impact customer engagement. This role will report into the Enablement team and work cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Sales Strategy, Product, and Sales to deliver world-class product and compete enablement at scale.

  • An annual Vibe & Thrive allowance to support your wellbeing, social connection, office setup & more
