Producer - Games Live Ops

About the job:
This role will focus on our Live Games from a production perspective, from those requiring infrequent updates to our fully live-serviced games, including roadmaps, scoping, dependencies, and release of content updates.
You will manage Live Service Production with internal and external development partners across a slate of titles. You will take the lead as a developer’s primary point of contact, working to create project and milestone schedules, as well as post-launch content update planning, and overall development plans; you’ll provide ongoing management checks and balance throughout the full live operations of the title, from launch onwards. Additionally, you’ll collaborate across the Production organization to de-risk titles, update leadership on status and risks, and loop in key cross-functional partners as needed.
Responsibilities:
Partner with our Developers and crossfunctional teams to ensure priorities can be executed and roadmaps are aligned
Partner with our QA & Release Ops teams to ensure games are maintained and updated as needed
Identify and lead game initiatives to ensure our team and developers have goals, frameworks and priority needed to make the titles you’re responsible for successful
Partner with business development and creative teams to ensure we are making the right decisions for our developers and members, ensuring we are on track to achieve title goals
Understand and review KPIs in a Live Services context and collaborate with development teams and crossfunctional partners to make recommendations to improve those KPIs.
Help resolve unique and complex product issues through ingenuity, creativity and any other means necessary to get the job done. Identify risks early and often and remove roadblocks and performance bottlenecks as needed
Work cross-functionally to create a healthy team culture based on rich communication, transparency and shared context.
Review and track project milestones to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and timely payments
Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external partners
Identify potential risks and proactively escalate issues as needed
Skills and Experience:
2+ years of Live Service production experience, preferably from mobile F2P gaming
4+ years experience in game production with experience shipping and/or running live services on multiple games (GaaS, F2P, mobile, web, console, handheld)
Experience in planning and execution, specifically post-launch/live services in games. (console, PC, or mobile)
Understanding of Live Games KPI data and how to drive improvements to those KPIs to deliver success.
Experience overseeing the full lifecycle of game development with a specific focus on post-launch live service operations
Knowledge of Live Service production, the difficulties generally encountered by teams and solutions tailored to their requirements
Experience leading complex cross-functional projects with successful delivery of quality, schedule and in balancing scope, capacity, budget, risk, and time
Experience with bug tracking software such as JIRA
Ability to influence direction, without relying on positional authority
You have an uncanny knack for arriving at solutions through unconventional methods and developing a plan to put them into action
You have excellent communication and are able to work with a variety of people, effectively communicating everything from data to creative feedback
Passion for video games, innovations in software and how they enrich the player experience
Experience managing a portfolio of games/products of varying scale simultaneously
Experience with analytics dashboards, project management software, and/or publishing platforms a plus
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $50,000- $250,000 USD.
