Procurement Associate
About You:
The Procurement Associate optimizes the flow of information across the entire Supply Chain function, updating key reports by collecting data from multiple sites. You will focus your attention on tactical information to ensure all data pulls are accurate while also helping to own all inventory movements within ERP. Additionally, you will analyze data trends and performance by providing critical insights that help drive procurement strategies.
Responsibilities:
Gather inventory reports from every contract manufacturing partner related to raw materials, components, bulk and finished goods on a weekly and monthly basis to consolidate into an encompassing report to share with the supply chain team
Write all raw material, bulk and packaging purchase orders to all manufacturing partners and vendors and track all raw material receipts, entering them into the ERP
Updating of POs based on overages, shortages, date changes and final releases
Ensure BOMS, COGS and all item codes are set up for new raw materials
Learn and update the MRP file on a monthly basis from the consolidated inventory reports received
Update rebate tracker for raw materials on a monthly basis
Assist Product Development in building COGS to support new product launches
Prepare and review reports to support Accounting Month-End Close
Creating new SKUs, updating existing ones, and managing revisions based on product changes or updates.
Maintaining accurate and consistent product information for the ERP system integration, including item masters, bills of materials (BOMs), and routings.
Scheduling and tracking inventory transfers between warehouses, facilities, or departments.
Accurately record all expired or soon-to-be-expired raw ingredient inventory, including details such as lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates.
Coordinate with relevant departments and external vendors to ensure timely and compliant disposal of expired inventory, adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Business-related degree
2-4 years of Supply Chain experience within a consumer goods company; DTC/eCommerce experience preferred
Knowledge and understanding of procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations
Experience with inventory management practices
Advance Excel/Google Sheets experience
Possess exceptional communication skills (written/oral) with the ability to follow through with little direction, and solid organizational skills
Hands-on collaboration experience with cross-functional teams

Salary Range:
$75,000—$85,000 USD
