About the job
As a product manager in Programmable Voice, you will be responsible for crafting delightful customer experiences and owning the end-to-end product vision, strategy, and roadmap for this high volume, analytics-driven problem space. You will need to work closely with Product Managers, Support, Sales Engineering and other front line customer stakeholders to triage and understand the needs of customers and how to diagnose, then build solutions to address customer needs at scale.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Help developers build the future of conversational voice AI interactions by providing critical observability tooling
Provide choose-your-own-adventure interfaces (REST API, streaming data, UI) for consumption of call metadata

*Required:
You have 5+ years experience as a Product Manager for a modern technology company.
You have experience using, building or managing high volume analytics tools, software or platforms.
Experience writing requirements for a software feature or solution for internal or external customers.
Demonstrated experience working with big data sets and using tools such as writing SQL queries, sheets, or similar.
Strong technical, analytical, and UI/UX design understanding and will roll up sleeves to get the job done.
Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Track record of driving impact in a cross-functional, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment.
You know how to influence people to get things done across any job function. People enjoy working with you.
You have excellent communication skills across all mediums (visual, written, verbal) that inspire teams and bolster your decisions with focus and clarity.
You have experience writing code - for fun, college, or work - and you enjoy working on hard technical problems. We are looking for someone with a strong technical bent to collaborate with our engineers as well as our analytical customers.
Desired:
Fluency in conversational AI space, with a focus on voice interactions.
Experience independently testing hypotheses and quantifying expected impact by querying internal data sets.
Experience with media communication technologies, including real time or streaming in the audio and/or video domains.
Experience in understanding distributed systems (cloud-scale) architectures.
Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development process with globally-distributed teams and customers.
Experience working with direct sales, marketing, and defining pricing/packaging.
Experience with telephony, telecom or other high volume communications infrastructure.
Location
This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $167,000-208,000.
Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $177,000 - $220,000.
Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $197,000 - $245,000.
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
