We are seeking an experienced Principal / Architectural Consultant to join our team, specializing in designing and delivering enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and client-facing responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist with proven experience architecting, engineering, and delivering modern cloud solutions. You will guide development teams, lead architecture and design sessions, and serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them modernize applications, adopt cloud-native technologies, and implement DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design
Architect scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on Microsoft Azure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
Define cloud-native architectures, including microservices, serverless, event-driven, and container-based designs.
Design end-to-end solutions integrating applications, APIs, data platforms, and identity & access controls.
Technical Leadership
Provide hands-on leadership to development teams, offering guidance on engineering best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and test automation efforts.
Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives and technical spikes to validate new approaches and technologies.
Client Engagement
Act as a senior technical advisor in client meetings, workshops, and architecture reviews.
Translate complex technical topics into clear, business-relevant language for stakeholders.
Build strong client relationships and contribute to the success of consulting engagements.
DevOps & Automation
Architect CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Champion infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates.
Integrate automated testing, security scanning, and compliance into delivery pipelines.
Emerging Technologies
Stay up to date with Azure’s latest releases, AI/ML services, Microsoft Fabric, Azure OpenAI, container services (AKS), and cloud-native patterns.
Provide guidance on when and how to adopt emerging technologies to drive client innovation.
Internal Leadership & Mentoring
Mentor and upskill junior architects, developers, and consultants.
Collaborate with sales and delivery teams on proposals, estimates, and project planning.
Contribute to internal accelerators, templates, and frameworks to enhance delivery capabilities.
Required Skills / Experience
10+ years of experience in software development, architecture, and delivery.
5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Deep knowledge of C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Blazor, or similar).
Strong experience with Azure services: App Services, Functions, AKS, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, Entra ID.
Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.
Experience with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API management.
Experience with AI/ML integration using Azure Cognitive Services or Azure OpenAI is a plus.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong client-facing consulting experience.
Proven leadership in cross-functional and distributed teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment.

$185,000 - $210,000 a year
