The opportunity 

The People Business Partner plays a critical role in driving organizational success through the execution of the People strategy. They ensure alignment between business objectives and People-centric initiatives, policies, and processes. Serving as a trusted advisor to management, the People Business Partner addresses human capital challenges, provides coaching, influences decision-making, and resolves conflicts. They are instrumental in promoting and driving change, utilizing collaborative and integrated approaches to ensure the successful implementation of global People strategies. With strong expertise and insights, the People Business Partner demonstrates confidence in their decision-making and anticipates the evolving needs of the business, contributing to the organization's overall growth and effectiveness.

What you’ll do 

  • Align People strategy with business priorities to drive results, focusing on improving organizational performance

  • Collaborate with People Centers of Excellence (COEs) to analyze People trends and metrics, supporting the development of targeted solutions, programs, and policies

  • Use business data to derive insights that support leadership decision-making and inform strategic initiatives

  • Partner with business leadership to foster positive work relationships, enhance morale, and drive productivity, employee engagement, and retention

  • Act as a champion for organizational change management and workforce planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals

  • Provide support for business transformation, collaborating with leaders to identify opportunities for organizational development and growth

  • Contribute to optimizing organizational design, improving productivity, and driving performance

  • Manage Employee Relations issues through effective, thorough, and objective investigations, engaging legal counsel as needed to ensure timely resolution and mitigate risks. Identifies and addresses related trends

  • Stay up to date on legal requirements related to talent management and regulatory compliance, partnering with legal counsel as needed to mitigate risk

  • Support people leaders in addressing employee behavior and performance issues, guiding them in providing feedback and applying corrective/disciplinary actions in line with company policies

  • Coach leaders and challenge them to enhance leadership capabilities, supporting their development and effectiveness

  • Collaborate with COEs to implement programs and initiatives that align with overall business strategy and goals

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

The experience you bring

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on HRBP responsibilities, ideally in a high-growth or fast-paced environment

  • Experience in building strong relationships with business leaders, providing HR support and guidance to drive business outcomes

  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills (e.g., Excel), with the ability to derive actionable insights from data

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with managers and teams at all levels

  • Experience in handling employee relations matters, such as discrimination and harassment complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolutions

  • Solid understanding of relevant employment law (e.g., Title VII, FLSA, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, GINA) and knowledge of state and local laws, especially in key markets like Florida, California, Texas, and Washington

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment

  • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is preferred

  • Ability to make sound decisions based on company policies, practices, and business needs

  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision to deliver HR solutions and meet business goals

It’s exciting if you also have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred but not required

  • PHR/SHRM professional designation a plus but not required
