We are turning months of manual work into mere minutes, and with much better results. Our platform also powers our 3D synthetic solutions, which enable large scale simulations and visualizations. Launched in 2020, we are now a team of 50+ based in US, and Graz, Austria, Europe's computer vision hub. We have secured $35 million in series A funding from a lineup of top US and European investors, including Microsoft M12, Point72 Ventures, Maxar, In-Q-Tel, SAFRAN, and ISAI/Capgemini. 

We are looking for a dynamic and organized Payroll and People Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong background in payroll processing and people operations. You should have a deep understanding of Austrian labor law, and social security regulations, as well as experience coordinating payroll across multiple countries. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Independent payroll processing for Austria, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements. 

  • Coordination with external payroll providers for payroll processing in countries outside Austria. 

  • Expert point of contact for inquiries related to labor law, wage tax, and social security regulations. 

  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal departments to ensure seamless payroll administration. 

  • Preparation of monthly reports, statistics, and evaluations to support internal decision-making. 

  • Contract management, ensuring up-to-date records and compliance with policies. 

  • Handling of travel expense accounting to guarantee correct reimbursements and adherence to company policies. 

Qualifications

  • Completed payroll accounting exam (Personalverrechnerprüfung) 

  • Relevant professional experience in the field of payroll 

  • Very good MS Excel knowledge and proficiency in MS Office programs 

  • Hands-on mentality, independent working style and strong self-motivation 

  • BMD NTCS knowledge is essential 

  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
