Our team is rapidly growing as we expand our programs to reach more health systems and patients, and we are excited to bring on a Payroll & Benefits Specialist.
The Payroll & Benefits Specialist role will have the critical responsibility of performing a variety of technical and administrative duties in support of our People Operations function. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail and optimize to create the best possible experience for our employees. Additionally, this role will work closely with other members of the Operations & Finance teams, as well as our Revenue Operations function. Ideal candidates will not only be driven by the problem we are solving but also by the innovative approach and technology that we are applying to healthcare - looking to make a significant impact on healthcare delivery. We’re looking for someone with exceptional curiosity and enthusiasm for solving hard problems.
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage payroll administration in partnership with Head of People Operations
Serve as main point of contact for employee benefit and payroll issues
Maintain records, reporting, multi-state tax accounts and other documentation required by federal, state, and provider rules, regulations, and policies in partnership with our brokerage team
Administer annual benefits open enrollment process
Partner with leave mgmt provider to ensure timely and accurate pay and benefits admin
Qualifications (Required):
2+ years of related experience
Proficient with HRIS and payroll platforms
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications (Bonus):
SHRM-CP and/or CPP preferred
Experience with Rippling HRIS
This position offers remote flexibility allowing employees to work from home in any of the following hubs: Seattle, WA; Bay Area, CA; New York City, NY; and Chicago, IL.
