Position Summary:  

The Project Manager, Americas plays a critical role in driving the successful execution of complex, high-impact projects that align with the regional’s strategic goals. Your focus will be on enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing workflows, and ensuring seamless collaboration across regional business groups. 

By leveraging data-driven decision-making and best practices, you will deliver projects that drive business growth, enhance performance, and support the organization’s strategic initiatives. Working closely with regional leadership, corporate teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will optimize project workflows, implement best practices, and enhance process efficiencies.  

You will use data-driven insights to monitor progress, ensure the timely achievement of objectives, and maintain transparency among stakeholders. Additionally, you will support the execution of key initiatives, including regional transformation projects, contributing to continuous improvement and the organization’s overall success within the Americas region. 

Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to): 

Project Planning and Execution (40%) 

Lead the end-to-end delivery of regional strategic projects, which have enterprise-wide implications, including timelines, risks, budgets, and maintain all project documentation and reporting rhythms.  

Support strategic planning, resourcing, and execution across multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring alignment with regional business group leaders, priorities, business value, and long-term objectives. 

Anticipate and navigate complex interdependencies, proactively mitigate risks, and lead the resolution of high-impact issues to maintain project integrity, timelines, and budget adherence. 

Stakeholder Management (20%) 

Maintain clear communication with regional leadership, corporate teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success 

Engage on a regular basis with the America’s EOG, corporate and regional stakeholders to align and maintain projects vision/outcomes.  

Develop and lead region-wide communication strategies and support change management plans (owned by Transformation Manager) to drive adoption, minimize resistance, and foster a culture of transformation across all organizational layers. 

Process Optimization (15%) 

Drive cross-functional collaboration to re-engineer and optimize core business processes impacted by projects, ensuring sustainable operational excellence.  

Leverage data-driven analysis to identify inefficiencies and lead the implementation of scalable, future-proof solutions that maximize project success.  

Tracking, Reporting & Communication (15%) 

Establish integrated tracking mechanisms using advanced project management tools (e.g. MS Projects, Jira, Power Bi) to measure project health, benefits realization and milestone delivery.  

Deliver high-impact, insight-driven reporting to America’s EOG and senior leadership, informing decision making through predictive analytics, risk forecasting and scenario planning.  

Innovation & Continuous Improvement (10%) 

Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the operations and project team.  

Lead benefits realization tracking, post-project reviews, and the identification of future improvement opportunities across the region to ensure the sustainability and scalability of future project outcomes. 

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies: 

  • At least seven (7) years of experience in project or program management or related experience. 

  • Familiar with a wide range of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Wrike, Jira, Confluence, Asana) 

  • Project Management:  

  • Extensive experience in managing complex, long-range projects within dedicated portfolios, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.  

  • Proficient with a wide range of project management and/or process methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, Design Thinking, Waterfall) and tools, with a history of successfully delivering complex data management projects on time and within budget  

 

Required Education & Certifications: 

  • B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience. 

  • Bachelor's Degree (or similar): Fields such as Business Administration, Operations Management, Strategy, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field or a related field. 

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Project Management and Scrum Certification (Preferred)  

Compensation:

Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $87,000 to $110,000 or more depending on experience.
