Operations Manager, Software Implementations About Vision Vision Government Solutions is a leading Government Technology firm providing innovative software and services to the public sector. Our organization is quickly ramping up growth, and we are looking for people to join our fast-paced Software Implementation team to help us do that successfully.
Job Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will help our Software Implementation team onboard new customers by coordinating and managing the processes and daily activities of the team. Key roles & responsibilities include:
Managing and coaching direct reports within the Implementation team
Facilitating sprint ceremonial activities such as sprint planning and kick-off, daily status meetings, and project reviews
Facilitating the nomination and assignment of work items to ensure that project deliverables are assigned according to set milestone timing
Managing Sprint throughput as measured by sprint yield and completed stories per day per person
Proactively eradicating internal blocks that hinder progress on work items
Ensuring process adherence to ensure deliverables are of high quality
Driving, with the Project Managers and Support management, the Transition to Support of new conversions through go-live and planned post-go-live deliverables
Communicating with the cross-functional Sales, Appraisal, Customer Operations, Product, Development, and IT teams to coordinate solutions for cross-functional needs regarding upcoming project deliverables
Encouraging and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, while balancing and prioritizing with productive billable work
Managing special projects, as assigned by the Director of Implementation
Success in this role will be defined by achievement of Software Implementation project deliverables and strong sprint metric results sprint yield and completed stories per day per person AND achievement of team project on-time deliverables and go-live goals.

Experience working with a technical team and managing multiple projects concurrently
What Would Really Make You Stand Out
Industry knowledge, background in local county government appraisal, valuation, or tax
Knowledge or strong familiarity with software implementation and data conversion
Experience with any of our core tech stack and tools: Slack, Jira, BaseCamp, GitHub, SQL Server
Job Type: Full Time, Remote must be able to work during normal Eastern time zone business hours 8a-5p. Being remote means we stay engaged with each other all throughout the day and leverage webcams as a tool to build and strengthen team cohesion, while strengthening team bonds and improving communication.
