Mobile QA Engineer

As a Mobile Automation Quality Assurance Engineer at Namecheap, you will collaboratively review and validate the development work to ensure quality and that the requirements are met, ensuring our millions of users experience our products in a fluid and seamless way.

What will you do:

• Develop automation tests for new Mobile features and backend endpoints

• Maintenance of automation tests affected by new developments

• Monitor failing tests, conduct a thorough analysis, and log defects as necessary.

• Communicate with the development team to align best practices to support automation tests

• Identify risks and areas that cannot be automated

• Actively contribute to the QA team's growth by sharing insights, fostering continuous improvement in automation processes, and test cases and supporting skill development.

• Elaborate and present status of test Coverage and strategies for the next months

What will you bring:

• 5+ years experience in software testing

• Experience in automation tests for Mobile native apps Android/iOS

• Experience using any Selenium-based automation tools

• Experience with mobile automation using Appium

• Experience with JavaScript/ Typescript language

• Experience in automating tests for Backend REST APIs 

• Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)

• Strong familiarity with Git for version control, including branching, pull requests, and merging.

• Ability to think critically and independently to solve testing-related issues and contribute to improving automation strategies.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with AWS Clouds Solution

• Experience with Relational Database

• Experience with application monitoring/logging tools (Kibana, Grafana, New Relic)
