Manager - Technical Sourcing

In this role you will partner closely with our product engineering teams hiring phenomenal engineering talent into Airbnb.

As a Manager of Technical Sourcing, you will have a pivotal role in leading our product engineering recruiting efforts by developing and implementing advanced sourcing strategies to nurture and uncover top talent. Your leadership in sourcing will enhance our ability to engage and hire a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates. By driving the growth and success of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization.

A Typical Day: 

• Manage a high performing team of technical sourcers 

• Work closely with recruiting and hiring managers to develop and execute on sourcing strategies for a variety of roles

• Build a research arm to understand the competitive landscape

• Regularly track and analyze pipeline and performance data to share with internal stakeholders 

• Develop a strong understanding of the recruiting process and drive/recommend improvements

• Create and execute innovative sourcing strategies and recruiting campaigns to achieve hiring goals

• Represent the company with integrity and professionalism

Your Expertise:

• 10+ years of sourcing experience for a consumer facing web startup with elite standards

• 2+ years of sourcing management experience 

• Proven track record for successfully identifying and hiring exceptional candidates in high growth environments

• Experience in creative sourcing through multiple channels (web, social/professional networks, etc.)

• Exceptional interviewing, communication, organizational and problem solving skills

• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Ability to maintain strong relationships with recruiters and hiring managers

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
