The Multi-Product Features team vision is to help our customers move at the speed of their ideas by helping users move fluidly between Figma’s different products. Our goal is to make it easy to discover and adopt the right tools at the right time through familiar, reusable patterns. We build features that are used across multiple products that help users move seamlessly across the Figma ecosystem. Given the large reach of the features and product experiences we build, we have exceptionally high standards for product quality and craftsmanship. As Figma’s product suite continues to grow this team will play a large role in Figma’s long-term success: each new Figma product draws more focus to the experience of moving (and moving content) across different products.

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:

  • Manage and support a team of experienced engineers to build new features that better connect Figma’s multi-product ecosystem

  • Champion a strong engineering culture rooted in inclusivity, velocity, and technical excellence

  • Partner with product, design and engineering leadership to set strategy, priorities, and mission for teams and projects

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners and other engineering teams to build and support a culture of doing great work together for our engineering team by investing in team culture, mentorship, and meaningful work

  • Grow your career in a collaborative and creative engineering community

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • 2+ years of engineering management experience and leading a high output engineering team

  • 6+ years of frontend engineering experience

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in building a high-performing and highly engaged engineering team; including a proven track record of motivating, mentoring, and guiding senior engineers

  • Experience building product roadmaps with product, design, and data-science partners

  • Proven success balancing technical quality work alongside feature development

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in cross-functional settings

While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:

  • Success working in highly complex and ambiguous product spaces

  • Experience shipping cross-product features and tools

  • Strong collaboration experience across engineering teams and organizations

At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
