Manager - Partner Specialists
As a Partner Specialist Manager at HubSpot, you will lead a team that is crucial to the growth of our Solutions Partner Ecosystem. You will be responsible for coaching and developing a team of Partner Specialists who are not just acquiring new partners but are also setting them up for long-term success.
Your team's responsibilities will be twofold:
Partner Acquisition: Your team will identify, engage, and guide high-quality prospective partners through a consultative sales process. This involves building a strong pipeline and executing strategies to acquire the right partners at the right time to join our ecosystem.
Early Partner Success: The job doesn't end once a partner signs on. Your team will stay engaged with new partners to help them build momentum post-sale. This includes collaborating with our internal Partner Development team and other stakeholders to ensure these new partners successfully sell and service their first HubSpot clients, creating a foundation for their long-term growth and success within our ecosystem.
Ultimately, you will be hiring, developing, and coaching a team that is foundational to the health and growth of our entire partner program. You'll lead a group of strategic thinkers who can both close a deal and build the foundation for a lasting partnership.

In this role as Sales Manager, Partner Specialists you’ll get to:
Lead a remarkable sales team to achieve their targets
Directly manage and develop partner specialists enabling them to acquire and activate new partners for HubSpot’s Solutions Partner Program
Organize and design weekly training sessions that enable your team to collaboratively upskill and grow in their sales skills
Attract and develop top talent who bring a unique perspective to HubSpot, through best-in-class recruiting, onboarding, and training methodologies in tandem with our HubSpot recruitment, learning, and development team
Proactively collaborate with leaders across the Americas (US, Canada, Latin America) organization to aid in the growth of the business and remove barriers
Refine and develop playbooks to help our teams acquire new partners (particularly upmarket partners) + activate new partners once they’ve joined our program
Work closely and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, sales operations, customer success, and partner operations. Work cross-regionally (EMEA, Americas, JAPAC) to share and learn best practices.

We Are Looking For People Who
Have led sales or channel teams in a fast-paced SaaS or technology-based environment.
Have a deep understanding of partner and channel programs
Have experience with change management and helping teams work through complexity and ambiguity
Have proven leadership, team management, and coaching skills and a consistent track record of hiring, developing, and mentoring successful teams.
Experience leading a consultative sales process, with an ability to segment and manage territories effectively
Superior coaching skills - ability to observe, evaluate & use various techniques to improve results
Have experience creating an inclusive team environment that fosters trust and a sense of empowerment.

The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
