About the job
As a HR Business Partner, you’ll work side-by-side with senior leaders in Twilio’s engineering org to craft bold talent strategies and workforce plans that sharpen skills, evolve ways-of-working, and fuel a culture built to deliver world-class CPaaS products. Reporting to the HRBP lead for the Chief Product Officer, you’ll be a key force on a high-impact HR team that drives organisation success across global Engineering, Product, and R&D. This role is custom-built for someone who thrives in a product development environment, is motivated to drive organisational success, and knows how to turn complexity into clarity.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:

Taking a consultative, data-driven approach to uncover opportunities
Using analytics and insights to drive timely, targeted outcomes
Building high-ROI programs across org design, workforce planning, and culture curation
Partnering closely with COEs to ensure your functional talent strategy syncs with cyclical programs
Turbo-boosting your productivity with sensible usage of AI tools
As a trusted advisor you’ll maintain a strong say:do ratio and uphold confidentiality
Bring effective executive coaching skills to the table
Leverage deep understanding of engineering orgs to shape outcomes
Lead by example—living and modeling Twilio Magic (values)

*Required:
8+ years of HRBP experience and 3+ years partnering with software engineering or product management teams
Deep knowledge of engineering orgs, including operating models, methodologies, roles, and trends
Proven ability to deliver scalable, high-ROI, business-first people programs
Exceptional communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills
Energised by learning, solving complex problems, and driving results
Desired:
Experience partnering with internal OE consultants and/or HCM strategy firms
Background working within HRBP teams that build and drive functional talent strategies
Location
This role will be remote.
Travel
We prioritise connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

Compensation
*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $114,000 - $143,300
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
