Role Description
The Content Programming Manager is an event and experiential marketer responsible for managing a team of individual subject matter experts to achieve HubSpot company objectives through live events. This role requires someone who excels both in strategic and creative work, and who is also able to effectively project manage and oversee their own and their direct reports’ cross-functional projects.
Serving as the programming lead for HubSpot events including INBOUND, GROW, and other event properties, this role requires deep knowledge of content development and audience engagement strategies and a passion for events. The ideal candidate has a nuanced understanding of content curation for live events, recognizing this type of content is not binary, but instead a spectrum of experiences including 1:1 and 1:Many interactions with attendees, co-led experiences with internal HubSpot partners, and surprise and delight experiential moments, all with the goal of increasing retention and use of HubSpot products.
This role is responsible for their team’s end-to-end execution of content programming for INBOUND, GROW and other events, which overall includes research and sourcing of speakers and content, speaker preparation and logistics, and data analysis post events to inform future strategy and innovation.
Qualifications
[Required] Experienced programming strategist with expertise in developing world-class content for large in-person events
[Required] Seeking an experienced people manager who has led teams of three or more individual contributors at varying levels of autonomy, and has the ability to coach and develop employee talent
A strategically minded person, who can process disparate information quickly and develop action plans, make and communicate decisions quickly and effectively, and has a proven track record of building out new projects, plans, and processes
An innovative person who is on the cutting-edge of what's new across tech, business, and the events industry in order to uplevel content programming, with a working knowledge and regular usage of applicable AI tools and solutions
A strong relationship-builder who can work cross-functionally across teams while maintaining tight timelines and meeting department and event goals with both internal and external stakeholders
A strong storyteller who is able to succinctly convey relevant narratives that will resonate with the strategic goals of the business and senior stakeholders
Someone with excellent writing, presentation, and project management skills
Someone with an extremely high level of professionalism, tact, and judgment
Someone with experience handling multiple high-profile events at once and knowledge of event marketing
[Required] Must be willing to flex work hours to accommodate collaboration with a globally dispersed team spanning NAM East Coast, EMEA, and APAC regions. This role occasionally requires working outside normal business hours to enable effective communication across different time zones.
[Required] Must be willing to travel quarterly to attend onsite events in NAM, EMEA, and APAC regions.

Cash compensation range: 116000-174000 USD Annually This resource will help guide how we recommend thinking about the range you see. Learn more about HubSpot’s compensation philosophy. The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
