What you’ll be doing:

We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on Manager, Business Analytics to lead a team of business data analysts driving insight, clarity, and performance across our business. This role will partner deeply with cross-functional teams - such as Operations, Tech, Partnerships, Provider Experience, Growth, Clinical Excellence, and Finance - to develop analytical tools that guide decision-making to accelerate company performance. The ideal candidate is a structured thinker, technical enough to dive deep, and experienced in building and coaching high-performing teams.

  • Manage 5+ business data analysts and grow the value of the Business Analytics team by (1) building the appropriate systems, processes, guidelines and (2) developing team members through business orientation, technical coaching, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Act as a thought partner to business leads by framing problems, designing analyses, and surfacing actionable insights to enable data-driven decisions. Champion scalable tooling and dashboards that enable self service, improved data access, and measurable impact.

  • Own the Business Analytics roadmap across key business domains and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into compelling insights that influence strategy and resourcing. Build strong feedback loops between Business Analytics and our business stakeholders.

The base compensation range for this position is:

Zone 1 (NYC, SF, Seattle Metro Area) : $188,000 - $210,000

Zone 2 (All other US locations):  $178,000 - $199,000

The base compensation for this role will vary depending on several factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, and the candidate's working location.

You’ll be a good fit if you are:

  • A strong people manager: You have 2+ years of direct management experience in developing analysts into trusted thought partners. You lead with clarity, give actionable feedback, and create an environment where your team thrives. You are a player-coach that enjoys rolling up your sleeves on SQL and analysis while also creating the systems and mentorship to help others grow and scale.

  • A problem solver: You have 8+ years of experience in BI or data analytics at a high-growth startup or tech company. You’re able to identify business challenges based on metrics and analyses, and you’re ready to recommend solutions to improve business processes. You balance analysis with decisive execution to avoid “analysis paralysis.”

    • Strong bonus: Experience solving data problems in a healthcare-related field (e.g., provider operations, value-based care, health tech SaaS).

  • Business-minded: You instinctively ask how insights translate into value for the end user and the business. You don’t just report data; you connect the dots, frame decisions, and influence outcomes.

  • A data-driven decision maker: You have expert-level SQL skills and are familiar with tools like Snowflake, DBT, Looker, Hex, and Retool. You spend most of your day building critical analyses and data visualizations to elicit data-driven insights. You use metrics and analyses to uncover insights, validate hypotheses, and guide operational decisions. You are able to dive deep to understand the full scope of data, including edge cases.

  • An effective communicator: You are adept at translating complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You are comfortable presenting to executives, business leaders, engineers, PMs, and peers. You are expert at crafting compelling data stories through visualizations.

  • Mission-Driven: You’re here to change the world, and you’re always connecting your work back to the importance of the Grow Therapy mission.

  • Agile: You thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment, and you’re able to pivot as new priorities emerge. You are skilled at managing multiple stakeholders, projects, and timelines efficiently.

  • A Team Player: You’re collaborative by nature, relish in camaraderie and group wins, and are looked to by your colleagues as a steadfast partner and source of encouragement.
