M&A Integrations Lead/Senior Associate
🌟 About Nava
Nava Benefits is a modern benefits brokerage on a mission to fix healthcare. Nava was founded on the vision of bringing high-quality, affordable healthcare to all Americans, starting with the 49% who receive insurance through their employers. By partnering with healthcare and benefits leaders from the country's largest companies, Nava packages their insights, tools, and best practices into a scalable, unified service offering that has helped smaller employers save 8-22% on their benefits plans.
Launched by seasoned co-founders, we're a cross-functional, passionate group of leaders and operators intent on building the industry's most diverse and dynamic place to work.
🚀 About the Role
We’re looking for an M&A Integrations Lead/ Senior Associate to own the integration lifecycle from the moment acquisition conversations begin, through deal closure, to full operational integration. This role is less about deal structuring and more about execution. You’ll be the connective tissue between cross-functional teams, ensuring we’re ready for Day 1—and beyond.
This is a unique opportunity to build the integration discipline at Nava, laying the foundation for scalable, repeatable success as we grow.
📋 What You’ll Do
Lead integration planning and execution for acquired companies, from early conversations to full onboarding
Partner closely with internal stakeholders (Product, Ops, People, Finance, GTM) to ensure alignment and readiness across all functions
Drive planning and execution—ensuring every team is prepared and no detail falls through the cracks
Develop integration roadmaps, timelines, KPIs, and progress tracking systems
Flex and adapt as new information surfaces—this is not a static playbook
Identify risks, anticipate roadblocks, and proactively surface solutions
Act as a strategic thought partner for leadership during acquisition planning
Lay the groundwork to eventually build a repeatable integration function and team over time
🎓 About You
4–7 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
Management consulting with exposure to M&A or PMO work
Project management at a fast-moving startup
M&A integration roles with meaningful post-close execution work
Experience driving cross-functional initiatives with high complexity and visibility
Strong presence—you know how to command a room and build trust quickly
Highly organized, detail-obsessed, and able to run large, multi-stream projects without dropping the ball
Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing environments; you find paths to success as new info emerges
Familiar with building playbooks and operating cadences around integrations
Excited about owning outcomes and flexing your hours during crunch times (with balance during slower periods)
Operate with a builder’s mindset—eager to help shape the future of this function
Bonus Points
Experience with VC-backed companies or rollups
Exposure to acquisition sourcing or pre-close work
đź’˛Compensation
