Lock Desk Analyst
Job Overview
The Lock Desk Analyst is responsible for supporting the Sales and Operations staff with their day-to-day operations in the execution of buy and sell side lock transactions, change and extensions requests, and pricing scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
Receive and process internal lock and change requests
Monitor rate lock expiration dates and communicate impending dates to sales team
Manage rate lock extensions and other lock amendments
Communicate with team members, external investors, and vendors
Enforcing Rate Lock policy
Assist Sales team with pricing scenarios
Maintain current knowledge of investor program requirements and changes as they occur
Maintain investor website and pricing engine user profiles
Assist Management to evaluate current processes and make recommendations
Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
Qualifications

Basic knowledge of Secondary Mortgage Market loan pricing components and Agency guidelines
Basic understanding of loan process flows from origination to loan sale
Optimal Blue experience required
Working knowledge of Encompass LOS
Organized and detail oriented
Strong critical thinking ability a must
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
High level of knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Servicing, Post Closing, or Shipping experience as well is a plus!
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years of Secondary experience in mortgage banking
Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business, or a related field recommended
