The Community You Will Join:

Airbnb creates opportunities for millions of hosts to build a business, develop connections with guests and hosts, and positively impact local communities. The strength of the global host community sets Airbnb apart. We keep hosts at the center of everything we do. The Airbnb Community team treats hosts as partners by fostering connection, supporting their development and success, and incorporating their feedback in our product and policies.

The Difference You Will Make:

Airbnb is seeking a strategic and detail-driven Learning Experience (LX) Content Production Lead to manage the end-to-end planning, creative production, and cross-functional delivery of educational content and experiences for Airbnb Hosts. This role sits at the intersection of creative design, production excellence, and program management. You’ll play a key part in defining and producing the systems, assets, and experiences that support host development across their journey—from onboarding and quality-building to long-term engagement and recognition.

You’ll partner closely with content designers, learning strategists, product teams, marketing, and external vendors to orchestrate best-in-class educational tools at scale. If you’re energized by driving clarity from ambiguity, uniting creative and technical collaborators, and building learning ecosystems that drive action, this role is for you.

A Typical Day:

  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution for scalable host education content across mediums including in-product education, articles, workshops, toolkits, interactive experiences, and video.

  • Ensure craft excellence that all final deliverables are grounded in insight, beautifully executed, and behaviorally effective.

  • Build and manage production systems, timelines, release plans, and team workflows, ensuring that educational assets are delivered with high quality, on time, and within budget.

  • Source and manage creative partners, junior designers, and vendors (e.g. photographers, videographers, producers, editors, localizers), defining scopes and managing them through execution.

  • Collaborate with LX strategy leads, Host community, and cross-functional partners in product, marcom, legal, data and policy to ensure outputs are aligned to strategic goals and meet the needs of hosts.

  • Translate learning objectives and strategic ideas into actionable production plans, connecting big-picture strategic intent with executional rigor.

  • Lead the team in the creative production process across multiple stages from content ideation to prototyping and iteration to detailed, production execution of the highest quality. Oversee creative and art direction of education assets with XFN partners in marketing and brand.

  • Ensure fidelity to brand, learning goals, and accessibility standards for a global audience throughout the production process.

  • Manage and prioritize feedback from senior stakeholders and executive leadership, ensuring effective and timely communication.

  • Drive continuous improvement of LX systems, tooling, and ways of working to ensure we scale education content globally and sustainably.

Your Expertise:

  • 12+ years of experience in program management, creative production, or content operations—ideally in tech, education, or media environments.

  • Proven experience managing multiple complex creative or educational content programs with many moving parts, partners, and deadlines.

  • Deep fluency in content production processes across a range formats including workshops, classes, instructional videos, graphics, interactive experiences, and digital toolkits.

  • Technical and operational fluency in working with delivery partners in scaled ops, CMS and LMS tools, generative AI tools, and localization.

  • Exceptional communicator, project steward, and decision-maker—calm under pressure, clear on priorities, and tuned in to team health.

  • Highly organized, detail-obsessed, hands-on leader known for managing processes that ensure projects run successfully and result in the highest level of craft across all outputs.

  • Experience in behavior change, learning sciences, adult learning, or product education is a strong plus.

  • Familiarity with Airbnb’s brand and Host community—or similar peer-to-peer platform audiences—is a bonus.

  • Figma expertise preferred.

A current portfolio of work is required for each applicant.
