Lead Talent Management Partner
The HubSpot People team is on a mission to help our internal Grow Getters grow better together. The Learning & Talent Development (L&TD) team is looking for a dynamic and forward thinking Talent Management Partner to build and drive critical talent management practices, with a particular focus on performance management, and exploring innovative solutions This role will have the unique opportunity to help shape the future of Talent at HubSpot, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI!
As a Talent Management Partner, you will play a pivotal role, directly working with the Director of Talent Management to drive transformative talent initiatives. You will be instrumental in co-designing and managing key talent processes such as performance management and talent planning efforts. You will also contribute to unifying and expanding our talent philosophy into key programs and tools, making a significant impact on our organization. We're looking for a strategic and results-oriented person who's ready to roll up their sleeves, pilot new approaches, and lead impactful change in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive execution: Lead end-to-end execution of performance management and other vital talent processes with various cross-functional partners, leveraging HRIS platforms, automation tools and exploring opportunities for AI-driven enhancements to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy
Champion Innovation & AI: Proactively research, evaluate, and pilot AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance performance management, talent planning, and other talent practices. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and gain deeper insights into AI.
Be a trusted advisor: Consult with People Business Partners to understand business needs and translate them into process requirements
Keep things focused and running smoothly: Manage the prioritization of cross-functional projects to maintain focus on strategic goals, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Champion change: Develop and implement change management frameworks for successful delivery and adoption of new talent practices
Navigate complexity: Proactively identify and manage risks, bringing clarity and structure to program governance
Track progress: Monitor deliverables, address roadblocks, and escalate issues when needed
Make impactful decisions: Lead decision-making and drive alignment on key talent management priorities
Empower managers: Provide crucial input to Learning & Talent Development for impactful manager programs aligned with company values
Use data to drive improvement: Leverage data-driven insights from HR platforms and AI-powered analytics to continuously enhance our talent programs and solve problems with a data-focused approach
Build strong relationships: Develop strategic relationships with stakeholders across the organization for long-term success
Communicate effectively: Create clear, concise, and engaging communications for various audiences, including executive leadership
Measure impact: Track project outcomes, learn from experiences, and build scalable processes
Qualifications:
6+ years in Program Management, Project Management or Management Consulting or Talent Management
Proven ability to manage projects from concept to implementation, strong understanding of project management methodologies
Ability to structure ambiguous problems, analyze data (including leveraging AI-driven insights), identify key insights, and recommend actions
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence effectively across all levels
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in project management tools (e.g. Asana)
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and eager to learn new technologies and systems, with a strong interest in exploring and applying AI to HR and Talent Management
Demonstrates a strong growth mindset, actively seeks new knowledge and approaches, and is bold in experimenting with innovative solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience developing and delivering global talent programs within a People team or HR organization
Advanced degree in a related field (Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, etc.)
Background in progressive, fast-growing companies
Prior experience with talent practices like performance management, talent planning, promotions, etc.
Prior experience working with an HRIT system to establish talent practices
Deep experience in organizational development, design, leadership development, and change management
Prior experience evaluating or implementing AI-powered solutions within a People team or HR organization
Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
