Vistrada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to serve as aAWS Solutions Architecton our Technology team.Vistrada is seeking an energetic analytic and solution-oriented professional with the a solid focus on overall cloud architecture, strategy, and planning. The candidate will need to communicate effectively with C level executives and their respective teams. The ideal candidate must have at least7+ years of relevant experience, as described below.
Responsibilities: Vistrada is seeking an experienced Lead AWS Solutions Architect/Consultant who will be expected to:
Conduct an assessment to review and analyze the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) cloud infrastructure.
Identify cost optimization opportunities to reduce cloud costs while maintaining / improving performance with no impact to regular operations.
Develop, articulate, and execute a detailed cost optimization plan.
Implement approved cloud cost optimization strategies outlined in the plan.
Monitor EDP platform performance to ensure there are no adverse effects.
Regularly report on progress including cost reduction trending and performance consistency.
Provide comprehensive documentation of the plan and implemented changes.
Share best practices and recommendations for ongoing cost control.
Project Deliverables:
1. A detailed cost optimization plan outlining the strategies to be implemented.
2. Implementation of cost optimization measures with regular monitoring reports.
3. Comprehensive documentation of changes made and recommendations for continuous cost control
Requirements:
Minimum 7+ years of experience with AWS cloud architectures
Strong understanding of FinOps and cost optimization concepts and opportunities
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Must be adaptive, enthusiastic, and possess good human relations skills
Must be able to think independently and make sound decisions
Strong critical and strategic thinking, analytical, and leadership skills
Bachelors degree (four-year college or university) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Location: Remote (East or Central Time Zone)
