Octopus Deploy sets the standard for Continuous Delivery, empowering software teams to deliver value in an agile way. Over 4,000 organizations globally –  including Ubisoft, ASOS, Xero, Stack Overflow, NASA, and Disney – rely on our Continuous Delivery, GitOps, and release orchestration solutions.

Founded in Australia in 2012, our team of over 270 Octonauts now spans the globe. We combine high growth and big ambitions with a sustainable, balanced working environment. Our revenue has grown consistently between 30–50% every year for the past 8 years, and we’ve been profitable for 10 out of the past 11 years.

We’ve been remote-first since 2015 and work with an uncommon level of transparency. You can read our public handbook to learn how we work. We have a transparent approach to compensation that ensures people doing the same work with the same skill get paid the same, with well-defined career pathways. We foster a supportive, collaborative, and high-trust environment. We leave our job titles at the door and focus on doing what’s best for our customers and team. Our leaders never shy away from answering the tough questions at our all-hands calls or in 1:1s. We conduct interviews and onboarding virtually as part of being a remote-first company.

You'll be joining our dynamic marketing team at Octopus Deploy, where we're passionate about helping development teams deploy software with confidence. Our marketing team works collaboratively across content, demand generation, and digital channels to connect with developers and DevOps professionals worldwide. We value creativity, data-driven decision-making, and a growth mindset. You'll work alongside experienced marketers, content creators, and subject matter experts who are committed to sharing knowledge and supporting your professional development.

As a Junior Digital Marketer at Octopus Deploy, you'll play a key role in our content marketing and digital presence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their marketing career to gain hands-on experience across multiple digital marketing disciplines while working with cutting-edge DevOps and deployment automation content.

You'll be responsible for managing our content publishing process, supporting SEO initiatives, and contributing to our demand generation efforts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

To help our teams work together effectively, this remote position requires you to be located in the United Kingdom.

A typical day might look like:

  • Content management: Oversee our blog and learning center content, including light editing and optimization of articles from our technical subject matter experts.

  • Newsletter operations: Manage our regular newsletter by adding content to templates, coordinating sends, and analyzing performance metrics and engagement data.

  • SEO implementation: Work alongside our agency partners to execute SEO and GEO recommendations, including technical improvements, link management, content optimization, and landing page enhancements.

  • Landing page creation: Build and optimize campaign and marketing landing pages to support various marketing initiatives and improve conversion rates.

  • Demand generation support: Assist with demand generation campaigns and initiatives to drive qualified leads and support our sales pipeline.

  • Performance tracking: Monitor and report on key metrics across all digital marketing activities to inform strategy and optimization efforts.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with content creators, designers, and other marketing team members to ensure consistent brand messaging and campaign execution.

You'll be a great fit for this role if you:

  • Have Relevant experience: At least 6-12 months of hands-on experience working in a digital marketing role, preferably within a B2B SaaS organization.

  • Have content skills: Strong writing and editing abilities with attention to detail and ability to work with technical content

  • Exhibit technical aptitude: Experience with website content management systems such as WordPress, Storyblok, or similar platforms is beneficial, but not required

  • Understand marketing platforms: Familiarity with marketing automation platforms like HubSpot or Marketo is beneficial, but not required

  • Understand SEO: Basic knowledge of SEO principles and best practices, with eagerness to learn more advanced techniques

  • Have an analytical mindset: Comfort working with data and metrics to measure performance and identify optimization opportunities

  • Are growth oriented: Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced technology environment

  • Communicate well: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively across teams

  • Are able to work independently: If you have experience working in a remote environment and with teams across different time zones, this will be a benefit.

Note: A formal digital marketing degree is not required if you can demonstrate relevant experience and skills in this space. We value practical experience and a passion for digital marketing over formal qualifications.
