Intern - Legal
Summary
At Pismo, the Legal team plays a critical support role across the entire organization. We are responsible for managing all legal aspects of the company’s operations, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, partners, and suppliers. In addition, we provide legal advice and support to all internal teams on matters that require legal guidance. Our team ensures that the company operates within the legal and regulatory frameworks, mitigating risks and helping the business grow responsibly. We manage relationships with external law firms, oversee legal compliance, and review marketing materials to ensure they align with current laws and regulations.
What you'll do
Support to Contract Analysis and Document Management
Assist in the review of commercial and supplier contracts, as well as NDAs — primarily in Portuguese, with some documents in English.
Organize and maintain the legal document repository on the shared drive to ensure easy access and proper filing.
Contribution to Legal Monitoring and Internal Tools
Prepare and manage spreadsheets to track company contracts and clients. Support the maintenance and updates of the internal legal team page to keep information accurate and up to date.
Collaboration with Internal and External Stakeholders
Interact with various departments across the company, including international teams, to understand and respond to legal demands.
Liaise with external law firms on operational matters.
Administrative and Operational Legal Support
Provide administrative support by handling internal legal requests and assisting the legal team with day-to-day operations and tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English at B2 level (Upper Intermediate).
Technical Skills:
Previous experience in the analysis of all types of agreements and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs);
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in LAW Expected graduation date: December 2026 or later
