About the job
This position is essential for developing and delivering new functionalities, features, and automations to support Twilio's internal platforms. As a key contributor, you will write impeccable code to design scalable and sustainable solutions. The features you create will be utilized by multiple teams within Twilio, driving efficiency and productivity across the organization. Your work will empower our internal teams to build more delightful and efficient solutions, significantly impacting Twilio's overall operations.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
Use your skills and creativity to solve problems and build functionality into Twilio’s Internal Platforms and Tools
Develop and maintain software, contributing to the overall success of Integrated Solutions Team
Work with a small and collaborative team, whiteboarding ideas, building full stack products, Apis and services
Engage in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including project planning, designing, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
Perform thorough and thoughtful code reviews to help maintain a high standard of code quality
Support production operations, building, releasing and assisting with team on-call
Craft clear and concise documentation
Work closely with a talented team of cross-functional engineers, designers and product managers.

*Required:
3+ years of software development experience in JavaScript or a related OO language
Experience building scalable software systems, and background in distributed systems or infrastructure to help deliver mission critical applications
Experience building web applications that delight customers and the developers working on them
Strong understanding of REST APIs, including how they work and how to integrate with different tools using APIs
Passionate about technology and enthusiasm for learning and working with new technologies
Champion good engineering habits (development and testing techniques, security, tech debt balance, agile habits) within your team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
Desired:
Experience developing on ServiceNow Platform
Experience on Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
Experience developing for AWS services
Location
This role will be remote, and based in India <Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana State, Maharashtra and New Delhi>.
Travel
