Osmind is a technology, services, and data company focused exclusively on psychiatry. Mental health disorders are one of the leading causes of death worldwide and are tied to shortening lifespans. Yet, we have cause for hope: there have been developments in new psychiatric medications since the first FDA approval in 1954, such as new treatments like ketamine, Spravato, and neuromodulation. Now, there is a growing movement among clinicians, patients, and researchers to close the gap between this scientific innovation and better real-world care.

At Osmind, we serve a network of 800+ independent psychiatry practices across 49 states. We help these clinics effectively provide high-quality care, scale as businesses, and contribute to research with our purpose-built EHR, software solutions, clinician community, and managed services. Our providers are at the forefront of psychiatry, offering innovative interventions and treating some of the highest acuity patients in the country.

Osmind is a San Francisco–based public benefit corporation backed by top investors including DFJ Growth, Future Ventures, General Catalyst, and Y Combinator.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to join our team as we launch our innovative technology-enabled service platform designed to help psychiatric practices achieve financial success while delivering cutting-edge treatments. This is a critical role that will directly impact the success of our partner practices and the growth of our platform.

As an Implementation Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for practices throughout their comprehensive 3-5 month implementation journey. You will be responsible for seamlessly integrating practices into both our technology platform and service offerings, including Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), ensuring they are positioned for long-term success from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technology Implementation & Configuration

  • Lead end-to-end EHR implementation and configuration processes for new practice partners

  • Configure workflows within our technology platform to align with each practice's unique operational needs

  • Ensure seamless integration between existing practice systems and our platform

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with development teams as needed

  • Project Management & Client Success

  • Manage multiple concurrent implementations while maintaining high-quality standards and timelines

  • Develop and execute detailed implementation project plans for each practice

  • Coordinate cross-functional resources, including technical, clinical, and service teams

  • Monitor progress against milestones and proactively address potential roadblocks

  • Training & Change Management

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for healthcare providers and staff

  • Create customized training materials and documentation for each practice

  • Facilitate user adoption through hands-on support and ongoing guidance

  • Ensure staff confidence and competency with new systems before go-live

  • Service Integration & Support

  • Implement RCM and other practice support services alongside technology solutions

  • Collaborate with service delivery teams to ensure smooth transitions

  • Establish ongoing support processes and communication channels

  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and optimization sessions

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of healthcare technology implementation experience with demonstrated success in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

  • Proven experience with EHR implementations, including configuration, data migration, and workflow optimization

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with healthcare providers, practice administrators, and technical teams

  • Experience training healthcare providers on new technology systems, with the ability to adapt training style to different learning preferences

  • Strong problem-solving skills and detail orientation with the ability to navigate complex technical and operational challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • RCM or practice management services implementation experience, particularly with billing, coding, and revenue optimization

  • Knowledge of psychiatric or behavioral health practices, including understanding of specialty workflows and compliance requirements

  • Familiarity with healthcare IT infrastructure and integrations, including HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data standards

  • Experience with change management methodologies and user adoption strategies

$72,800 - $95,000 a year

Depending on experience and location, the reasonably estimated national salary range for this position is between $72,800 and $95,000 annually*, plus an equity package for eligible employees. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local cost of labor. In addition, Osmind offers a wide range of comprehensive and inclusive employee benefits, including healthcare, dental, vision, generous family leave, FSA/DCFSA, mental health benefits, a 401(k) plan, and flexible paid time off.* #LI-Remote

This is a unique opportunity to help build a transformative healthcare organization from the ground up while solving critical challenges for psychiatric providers and their patients. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of mental healthcare delivery.
