Human Resources Intern Remote (East Coast-based applicants only) Duration: 10 weeks (June–August)
Join our remote team through a paid internship in Human Resources and help shape the culture and employee experience at one of the fastest-growing agencies in the industry.
As an HR Intern, you’ll get exposure to various aspects of the employee lifecycle and will contribute to real projects that support our people, culture, and engagement initiatives. You’ll also have the chance to collaborate across departments, gaining insight into how HR operates within a high-performance, creative environment.
What You’ll Do:
Assist the People team with a culture transformation program including:
Develop and launch surveys
Participate in stay-interviews and capturing employee feedback
Help interpret employee feedback and engagement data
Conducting data analysis to generate insights and action plans
Design and codevelop education and communication plans
Support project planning and creation and roll out of engagement initiatives
Support day-to-day employee engagement efforts, such as birthday and anniversary shoutouts or other recognition opportunities
Assist in creating and maintaining employee and manager resource documents, such as transfer templates
Use Excel to track and analyze HR data, leveraging functions like VLOOKUP
Assist in developing a skills capturing tool to assess employee skill sets and performance levels, and align these with company-wide success metrics.
Support skills assessment testing during recruitment and performance reviews, and use the data to inform merit increases and promotions.
Track and analyze training data, including hours completed and conducted, and measure training effectiveness and impact on performance.
Be a champion of our culture and a reliable team player throughout the summer
What We’re Looking For:
Currently enrolled in a college or university program
Physically based on the East Coast
Comfortable using Excel and manipulating data (experience with VLOOKUP preferred)
Strong communication skills and a willingness to take direction and feedback
Enthusiasm for HR, employee engagement, and people operations
Dependable, self-motivated, and excited about being part of a collaborative team
Leadership and project management experience
Passionate about building and supporting a great workplace culture
Exercises discretion and tact when handling sensitive or confidential information, ensuring privacy and trust
