About the job
The HR Business Partner plays a vital role within the HR Business Partner team, responsible for specific client groups within the organization. This role collaborates closely with the Sr HR Manager to develop and execute the People Strategy, focusing on Talent Management, Organizational Effectiveness, and Employee Engagement initiatives. And the function works closely with the Employee Relations Manager who manages activities related to business changes and compliance within their respective regions. By understanding business priorities, this role translates them into impactful strategies and initiatives. Leveraging data-driven insights, the HR Business Partner guides business leaders in anticipating future needs and recommending strategies to enhance performance, increase retention, and foster an exceptional employee experience.
Responsibilities
Act as a strategic partner to specific client groups within the organization, understanding their unique needs and aligning HR initiatives to support their business objectives.
Translate business priorities into impactful HR strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Drive change management initiatives tailored to the HRBP’s specific client groups to facilitate smooth transitions and adaptation to organizational changes.
Lead managers in annual people cycle activities, including performance management, talent management, and rewards, ensuring that line managers are equipped to conduct quality conversations and the HR process is followed.
The HR Business Partner ensures consistent application of policies in collaboration with the Employee Relations Manager who provides guidance and support on compliance topics, including but not limited to employment laws, regulations, and HR policies in general. The HR Business Partner ensures timely and clear communication with the ERM to enable them to anticipate and fulfill their regional responsibilities effectively.
Work closely with Centers of Excellence (COEs) such as Talent Management, Engagement and Talent Acquisition to align strategies and initiatives.
Lead or participate in HR projects aimed at driving organizational effectiveness, enhancing employee experience, and supporting business objectives.
About you
You are located in Malaysia, the Philippines, or Japan.
Substantial experience (usually 5+ years) in HR roles with progressive responsibility, including experience as an HR Business Partner.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Specific experience in an international HR capacity is highly desirable. This includes managing HR functions across multiple regions, understanding global employment laws and regulations, and navigating cultural differences in the workplace.
Experience working in multinational, fast-pased organization (and experience in preferably tech or BPO industry), where change is the norm.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Technical requirements
A minimum internet speed of 10 Mb/s download,10 Mb/s upload with Latency <200 ms internationally.
A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
A 64-bit version of Windows 10 or newer, or macOS 10.11 or newer.
An Intel Core i5-8260U or better/similar.
A smartphone usable for two-factor authentication that runs at least:
Android 8.0 or newer
Apple iOS 15.0 or newer
