Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Help Desk Specialist with experience supporting both PC and Apple (macOS/iOS) environments. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to end-users, resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day operation of IT systems across multiple platforms. This is a 12 month contract and requires an active Public Trust.
Responsibilities:
Provide first-level support for Windows and Apple-based desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
Respond to help desk tickets via phone, email, or ticketing system, ensuring timely and professional resolution
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
Set up, configure, and maintain user accounts, workstations, and mobile devices (including Apple iPhones/iPads)
Assist with the deployment and support of desktop/laptop imaging and software installations
Maintain inventory of hardware, software licenses, and other IT assets
Document technical procedures, known issues, and solutions in the knowledge base
Provide remote support for offsite users as needed
Collaborate with other IT team members to support projects and system upgrades
$22 - $28 an hour
