Health Coach

Labcorp is recruiting a Health Coach for a dynamic team. This position can be Remote based.

Summary We are looking for a part time experienced and passionate Bilingual Health Coach. This is a highly collaborative position on the Health Coaching team. The telephonic and digital sessions are scheduled by the participant for a series of 30 minute health coaching sessions over the course of a year with digital interventions in between scheduled sessions. 

This position is a remote opportunity with flexible working hours between 8am EST and 11pm EST and cannot exceed 19.5hrs/wk.  The health coach has flexibility with setting their weekly/monthly schedule, with oversite by the Wellness Operations Manager and can adjust for business needs.

The Health Coach will collaborate and partner with each participant to help define goals and help set a path to living a healthy lifestyle, by using Motivational Interviewing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Health Education, Health Communication, Public Health, Nutrition, or similar field.

• 3 years of relevant experience in the telephonic and digital health coaching.

• Demonstrated experience in 1:1 coaching and excels with the ability to communicate effectively.

• Implements coaching plan by using behavior change principles to identify member barriers and develop ways to overcome those barriers.

• Using evidence based guidelines, provides education and support to help members set and achieve health – related SMART goals and increase their capacity as a self-manager of their health.

• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

• Experience working with a variety of client cultures and personalities.

• Attention to detail and follow-through.

• Maintains a high level of organization.

• Strong verbal communication skills.

• Specialty credentials such as NBC-HWC, RDN, LCSW highly encouraged.

Pay Range: $45-50/hr

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
