We are on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Head of Product Marketing (m/f/d) to help us realise our vision of assisting brands and retailers in mastering the complexities of Enterprise for sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in building and telling the story of what makes Scayle’s platform the top choice of potential clients and our ecosystem partners, and ensure this narrative gets into the hands of those who need it most. A growth mindset, deep empathy for clients and customers, and a willingness to tackle complex problems head-on are key attributes we are seeking in our prospective team member.

As the Head of Product Marketing (m/f/d), you'll work to gain a strong understanding of our clients, our competitors set and develop powerful narratives that bring our next generation platform to life, and own their marketing and growth. Your focus will span the entire customer funnel, relentlessly driving reach and positive sentiment within your audience segments, product engagement, growth and optimization. You'll work closely with the product line owner, the commercial teams, product managers, designers, and other marketers to develop growth strategies, plans, programs and tools to meet your objectives.

Job Description

  • Develop the product narrative and positioning that differentiates Scayle's multi-channel strategy, products and features by understanding merchant and partner needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces

  • Develop business cases to justify marketing initiatives and their budgets, identify KPIs, set targets, and work with finance teams to forecast out metrics like retail customer LTV and customer acquisition cost, and data teams to build scorecards, which you'll use to report against and analyze the results and impact of your initiatives on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis

  • Launch and optimise market programmes to drive adoption of Scayle by driving cross-functional alignment between Product Management, Marketing, Sales and Support groups, and defining the target market segments, key messaging and distribution plans

  • Support Marketing in the annual planning of their objectives, priorities, targets and budget, providing insightful summaries on how we're tracking against those annual plans and generating ideas on how to close the gaps and 10x our growth

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6-10 years experience in a marketing, product marketing, or product role. Ideally, you'll have spent some time working in more than one of these three.

  • A strong understanding of marketing B2B and B2B2C SaaS products

  • Experience helping drive global business, product, and product marketing strategy

  • Experience marketing to the enterprise businesses / sector

  • Experience with a growth company or growth business unit

  • A strong interest in becoming a commerce expert, and a passion for the latest technologies

  • Experience using data/analytics to measure the impact of your work in the context of the business priorities

  • The ability to thrive in chaos and think quickly on your feet

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with great attention to detail

  • A resourceful attitude and strong influencing skills, you'll be working with a lot of different teams across Scayle and external partners

It'd be great if you also had:

  • Experience working in ecommerce

  • Experience or knowledge of large multi location retailers

  • Experience working in tech (preferably with a focus on ecommerce and retail) or, hardware tech (like payments hardware or mobile OEMs) - it's important to understand our platform and the products we deliver

  • Experience using an Enterpirse system or any 'like' eCommerce platforms is a plus

  • Experience using data/analytics to measure the impact of your work

  • Experience of developing positioning, messaging that accelerates demand

  • Experience of working closely with commercial teams (sales, demand generation and business development)

  • A 'get things done' attitude
