At Kueski, we're dedicated to improving the financial lives of people in Mexico. Since 2012, we've been the leading buy now, pay later (BNPL) and online consumer credit platform in Latin America, known for our innovative financial services. Our flagship product, Kueski Pay, provides seamless payment solutions for both online and in-store transactions, establishing itself as the preferred option for nearly 30% of Mexico's top e-commerce merchants. Notably, we were the first to introduce BNPL on Amazon Mexico.

We're a tech company with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration, and impact, fostering a strong, diverse, and inclusive workplace. Our commitment to excellence and ethical business practices has earned us multiple industry recognitions. In 2024, we were named one of the World’s Top FinTech Companies by CNBC and recognized as one of the most ethical companies in Mexico by AMITAI. Additionally, we were certified as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality by HRC Equidad MX 2025 and ranked among the Best Companies for Female Talent by EFY.

Kueski is seeking a Head of Capital Markets to lead our fundraising strategy across debt and equity while overseeing treasury operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned financial leader with expertise in capital markets, liquidity management, and credit products in fintech or lending. As a key leader, you will partner with the CFO to define long-term capital strategy and secure funding that aligns with growth objectives.

You will own the full capital-raising lifecycle, from structuring and negotiation to covenant management and investor relations. Your leadership will strengthen Kueski’s financial position and impact across LATAM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Capital Markets & Funding Strategy

  • Lead capital raising efforts including debt, warehouse lines, securitizations, and other financing vehicles.

  • Build and maintain relationships with banks, institutional investors, and credit funds.

  • Structure and negotiate financing deals that align with business needs and credit risk.

  • Managing the facilities covenants.

  • Treasury & Liquidity Management

  • Oversee day-to-day treasury operations: cash management, forecasting, and reconciliation.

  • Optimize capital allocation across loan products to ensure liquidity and solvency.

  • Develop liquidity stress tests and contingency funding plans.

  • Risk & Compliance

  • Partner with Risk, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure regulatory compliance in all funding transactions.

  • Maintain governance and reporting frameworks that align with lender and investor requirements.

  • Strategic Leadership

  • Be a thought partner to the CFO and executive team in shaping long-term capital strategy.

  • Develop and lead a high-performing team across capital markets and treasury.

  • Foster a culture of discipline, innovation, and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 6+ years in capital markets, treasury, investment banking, or financial services, ideally in fintech or credit/lending environments.

  • Proven experience leading debt financings (warehouse lines, securitizations, term loans) and/or equity fundraising (Series C and beyond).

  • Proven experience in hedging currency risk.

  • Strong background in treasury operations, cash forecasting, and liquidity planning.

  • Strong network in the LatAm financial ecosystem (banks, funds, investors).

  • Deep understanding of credit products, risk, and financial modeling.

  • Strategic thinker with sharp analytical and execution skills.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills (Spanish and English).

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and scaling in high-growth environments.

  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related; MBA or CFA is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of fintech lending models, risk, and regulatory dynamics.

At Kueski we embrace diversity in all forms, systematically promote equity, and ensure everyone feels included with a sense of belonging. We are committed to the full inclusion of all qualified candidates. As part of this commitment, we will make efforts to ensure reasonable accommodations are made during the hiring process. If reasonable accommodation is needed, please let the Talent Acquisition team know.
