Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Go to Market (GTM) Planning and Operations team works at the intersection of corporate planning, GTM Strategy, Product, GTM and Regional Strategy and Operations with responsibility for ensuring that we land the Stripe annual rhythm in a smooth and timely manner. This entails 3 main pillars:

  • Building and landing foundations (tooling, process, and strategy) for next cycle

  • Ensuring budgets, territories, targets, comp plans, reporting and enablement are delivered to GTM in a timely manner

  • Effectively managing in-year Account, Territory, Quota, and Business Adjustments

What you’ll do

We are seeking a technically sophisticated and detailed-oriented individual who will serve as GTM Operations Territory Lead for the GTM Planning organization. This person will be responsible for improving the quality of sales analytics and insights on a consistent basis, specifically with the focus on supporting territories design for our Product, Solution Architect, and Customer Success Manager teams, and also our target allocation modeling.

Responsibilities

  • GTM Planning: design and execute on a standard cadence of territory operations which drive future changes and process improvements for the GTM organization

  • Program and process management: independently develop and manage projects, programs, processes, and documentation to support key stakeholders and core operational planning processes

  • Scalable insight: conceptualize, build, manage and maintain centralized tools (including dashboards) that the business, your team, and cross-functional teams can use to extract data / insights for daily business management in an automated manner

  • Productivity and resource management: improve documentation and process to ensure efficient and effective execution

  • Oversee implementation of enabling systems and tools, working closely with internal systems teams to ensure quality builds at scale

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of work experience in business or sales operations, finance, data science, or business analytics

  • Intermediate SQL and Excel modeling experience

  • Experience initiating and completing analytical projects with minimal guidance, taking a structured approach to solving unique business problems

  • Prior experience with Territory design, quota deployment, and process improvement

  • Experience presenting technical content to non-technical audiences and leadership

  • Has a “roll up your sleeves” mentality, is pragmatic problem solver, with a bias to action and “getting things done”, and is passionate about driving business outcomes and change at the ground level

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce and knowledge of Salesforce data management, system configuration mechanics, and experience building Salesforce reports and dashboards

  • Experience with Anaplan for Headcount Management, Territories, Quota, or Productivity

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
