  • Distill the overall vision into a compelling roadmap that aligns with our 3-year strategy

  • Lead initiatives to improve System Usability Score (SUS) and reduce cognitive load on users

  • Define and improve key user journeys, focusing on first-time user experience

  • Drive personalization and productivity improvements across the platform

  • Communicate our vision through customer conversations, demos, blogging, and interviews

  • Work closely with your stable counterparts in R&D including Engineering, UX and Quality along with stakeholders across Go to Market (Marketing, Sales, etc)

What you'll bring

  • Strong ability to work across multiple product areas and coordinate complex initiatives

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Additional requirements are outlined in the Product Management Career Development Framework

  • You share our values and work in accordance with those values

About the team You will be leading a geographically distributed team of Product Managers while working closely with Engineering and UX Manager counterparts. The Foundations stage is uniquely positioned to shape how users experience and adopt GitLab, making this role critical for driving user satisfaction and platform adoption.
