We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Paid Media Buyer to join our high-performing Media Buying Team. In this full-time role, you will take ownership of large-budget campaigns across Google Display Network (GDN), YouTube Ads, and ideally Microsoft Audience Network (MSAN)—with the goal of aggressively scaling performance-driven, lead-generation campaigns.

This is a hands-on position that requires deep technical knowledge of media buying, strong strategic thinking, and a passion for performance marketing. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a proven track record in customer acquisition, and is excited to help scale Google Display and YouTube into a $100M+ marketing channel.

Why Join QuinStreet? You’ll be part of a collaborative and fast-paced team with ambitious goals to grow our Google Display, YouTube, and Microsoft Ads channels to $100M+ in revenue. If you're a strategic thinker, data-driven executor, and passionate about driving measurable impact, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, launch, optimize, and manage large-scale YouTube and GDN campaigns from end to end, ensuring alignment with key KPIs and business goals.

  • Leverage experience with Microsoft Audience Network to explore and scale new traffic opportunities across diverse publisher inventory.

  • Collaborate with account managers and network reps to implement best practices and advanced targeting strategies.

  • Conduct competitive research to uncover new creative testing opportunities and inform strategic planning.

  • Guide creative development by providing input on images, videos, and advertorials to ensure testing is aligned with performance goals.

  • Regularly report to the Director of Google on campaign results, insights, and actionable recommendations to improve margin and scale.

  • Continuously test and optimize ad copy, creatives, audiences, and funnels to maximize performance through rigorous A/B testing.

  • Identify and explore new traffic sources, including direct media partnerships and alternative ad networks.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience running performance-based campaigns on Google Display Network and YouTube Ads, ideally in lead generation.

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Audience Network or other native/display platforms.

  • Deep understanding of Google Ads platform tools, campaign structures, and optimization strategies.

  • Advanced skills in performance analysis using Microsoft Excel and data visualization/reporting tools.

  • Solid grasp of direct response marketing and conversion-driven copywriting.

  • Working knowledge of landing page strategy, A/B testing, and funnel optimization.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns while delivering consistent results and scaling success.

  • Creative problem-solver with a performance-first mindset and strong business acumen.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across teams.

  • P&L experience preferred, but not required.

The expected salary range for this position is $70,000 USD to $100,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
