Position Overview

NEOWIZ is seeking a highly experienced QA Lead (EU-based) to join our team. This fully remote role is exclusively open to candidates based in Europe (EU location only) and will oversee the quality assurance pipeline for Western development studios, ensuring seamless integration with internal and external teams.

The QA Lead will coordinate testing processes, manage external QA resources, and act as the primary QA liaison for third-party developers. This pivotal role involves working across multiple time zones, collaborating with internal QA teams, partner studios, and external vendors to maintain the highest quality standards for PC and console game releases.

Responsibilities

  • [QA Leadership]

  • Provide leadership for the NEOWIZ QA team based in the EU.

  • Establish and oversee QA workflows and best practices to ensure high-quality releases.

  • Coordinate with the Korean QA team to align processes and leverage internal resources efficiently.

  • Act as the primary QA point of contact for external developers, ensuring smooth communication and support.

  • Manage QA test planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring timely delivery of bug-free products.

  • Source and manage external QA resources in the EU, ensuring efficient outsourcing solutions.

  • Supervise functional, compliance, and localization QA to ensure high standards of quality control.

  • Oversee build testing and validation, ensuring development milestones are met without issues.

  • Support DLC, patches, and live service updates, ensuring post-launch quality management.

  • [International Collaboration]

  • Work closely with third-party developers and publishing teams to align QA efforts.

  • Ensure clear documentation and communication of QA processes, defect tracking, and test results.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, localization, and platform relations

  • [Compliance & Certification]

  • Ensure all releases meet platform compliance standards for PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam.

  • Work with certification teams to prepare submission packages and resolve compliance issues.

Qualifications

  • Must be based in Europe (EU location only).

  • 4+ years of experience in game QA as a Test Lead or Test Manager, 

  • Expertise in QA methodologies, test case creation, and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).

  • Experience managing external QA vendors and outsourcing partners.

  • Ability to work across multiple time zones and support Western development studios.

  • Good communication skills. Fluent English proficiency (spoken and written) is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working with AA or high-profile indie games.

  • Strong knowledge of platform certification processes (Sony TRCs, Microsoft XR, Steam guidelines).

  • Familiarity with automated testing tools and workflows.

  • Knowledge of localization QA (LQA) and English language testing.
