Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails, React, and AWS to join our growing development team. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a highly skilled engineer who enjoys building scalable web applications and working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails on the backend and React.js on the frontend.
Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions, integrating multiple data sources and databases.
Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces with modern JavaScript (React.js), HTML5, and CSS3.
Optimize application performance, maintainability, and security.
Ensure high code quality through best practices, including unit testing, automated testing, and code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, SES, etc.) to ensure high availability and scalability of applications.
Maintain and improve existing CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in full-stack development.
Required Qualifications:
Mid to Senior-level experience in full-stack development.
Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails, with a solid understanding of Ruby and its nuances.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+) for front-end development.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, React Context).
Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and GraphQL.
Understanding of MVC architecture, ORM, and database design.
Experience integrating and managing multiple databases and data sources.
Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.
Advanced or Fluent in Russian/Belarusian
