We are looking for an incredible executor to join an unmatched team! As our founding GTM Lead, you will not only be responsible for executing outbound prospecting campaigns but also for shaping the strategy, processes, and hiring for the business development (BD) team as we grow. This is a hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, excels in pipeline generation, and wants to build a high-impact BD team from the ground up. At Secfix, we’re at the forefront of automating security compliance for startups and SMBs in Europe. We help companies get and stay ISO 27001, GDPR, TISAX, and SOC 2 fast and easy and reduce hundreds of hours of manual work.

Secfix is run by a 100% remote team with hubs in Munich, Berlin and London. We’re a high-performing team looking for passionate, execution-focused, owners to help us automate security and compliance for modern companies and become the European compliance automation leader. We’re backed by top VCs, including Octopus Ventures, Neosfer (Commerzbank), founders of Signavio and many more business angels.

You should apply if:

  • You have 2-3 years in roles like VC-backed startups, investment banking, or other competitive BDR positions. Sales experience in the SaaS space is a plus.

  • You excel under pressure, navigating fast-paced decision-making and delivering results.

  • You’re passionate about building and leading a business development team.

  • You can both execute outbound sales strategies and build long-term BD functions.

  • You take full ownership of your pipeline and BD strategy, going above and beyond to drive results.

  • You are empathetic and curious - you love learning about customers and their problems.

  • You are open to feedback and can quickly learn and adapt.

  • You are customer-focused and feel confident leading live conversations (phone, video, face-to-face).

  • You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, and can track performance through KPIs.

  • You’re comfortable with working in a startup where priorities may shift quickly based on customer and market feedback.

  • You are fluent in both English and German (C2 level).

What You'll Do:

Your main responsibility is to build our BD team and generate demand—owning your pipeline, strategizing, and executing to ensure Secfix’s message resonates with the right companies, at the right time. You will:

  • Hire, lead and mentor a high-performing BDR team that can scale to Series A+.

  • Develop structured onboarding and training programs for new hires.

  • Research and identify target companies and leads matching our ideal customer profile.

  • Source and qualify inbound and outbound leads by applying qualification frameworks such as PACTT.

  • Set up discovery meetings with the sales team.

  • Continuously analyze and improve outbound strategies using data-driven insights.

  • Feedback prospect learnings to the Secfix product team to help refine our go-to-market positioning and playbook.

Requirements:

  • English (fluent) and German (C2 level)

  • 2-3 years in roles like VC-backed startups, investment banking, or other competitive BDR positions. Sales experience in the SaaS space is a plus

  • We would love to see a track record of success and achievement in the things you’ve done to date - academic, sporting, extracurricular, or otherwise
