What You Will Do: Manages large teams that include other senior level managers and senior level individual contributors - Creates or significantly improves processes or systems by leveraging experience and in-depth knowledge and understanding, which improve the competitive position of the organization - Consistently works with abstract problems, ideas, or situations across different job family groups of the organization - Influences executive leadership and outside stakeholders regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization Organization Impact & Communication - Briefs executives within job area on strategies and results - Consistently works with abstract problems, ideas, or situations across different job family groups of the organization - Directly influences business decisions made by executive leadership - Influences executive leadership and outside stakeholders regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization - Provides input on mid- to long-term operational plans (3-5 years) - Execute strategies established by executive Innovation & Complexity - Creates or significantly improves processes or systems by leveraging past experience and in-depth knowledge and understanding, which improve the competitive position of the organization - Consistently works with abstract problems, ideas, or situations across different job family groups of the organization - Leads negotiations and discussions with external stakeholders or large clients to gain acceptance on terms, concepts, and approaches - Develops successor programs and rotation plans for top talent - Frequently participates in negotiations with other leaders regarding operational issues - Problems and issues faced are complex and sometimes multi-dimensional, requiring broad-based consideration of variables that impact multiple areas of the organization Leadership & Talent Management - Manages large teams or multiple departments/unit that includes other senior level managers and senior level individual contributors - Responsible for creating workforce and staffing plans - Oversees large teams to identify upcoming issues and provides oversight and subject matter expertise - Has full management functions that include hiring, firing, promotion, and reward authority within own area, in accordance with review and approval procedure What You Will Need:  

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and a minimum of 12 years relevant experience (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree).

  • Ability to manage and prioritize several tasks simultaneously and autonomously.  

  • Experience managing large projects and teams and performance with expertise in delivering clear, constructive feedback and driving both individual and team performance.

  • Subject matter expertise in the areas of OFAC Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering, Financial Fraud Investigations, and/or other regulatory compliance areas.

  • Understanding of the legal, corporate governance, and regulatory environment related to the BSA and USA PATRIOT Act as well as knowledge of industry practices for operationalizing controls.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including developing presentations for different audiences (Client Stakeholders, Senior Level Executives, Guidehouse Leadership).

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suite Products.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new policies, procedures, and vendor systems.

  • Ability to handle privileged and confidential information.

  • A demonstrable willingness to work more than 40 hours when needed.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • CAMS certification.

  • End to end understanding of Transaction Monitoring/ Screening/ Fraud Operations/ SAR Reporting/Identification and Verification of Customers, KYC, CDD and EDD.

  • Project management and client relations experience.

  • Training and mentorship experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $118,000.00-$196,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
