Finance Specialist
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and driven Finance Specialist to support our HKASEAN Finance team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations across Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Key Responsibilities
Process and validate accounts payable invoices, resolving discrepancies to ensure accurate posting in Oracle
Prepare quarterly GST reports for applicable jurisdictions
Reconcile bank statements weekly against general ledger entries
Maintain accounting databases, including data entry and backup documentation
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries related to accounts payable adjustments
Manage monthly revaluation of foreign vendor balances and cash positions
Prepare and maintain weekly funding requirement schedules
Assist in statutory audits for HKASEAN entities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking, or Business Management
2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, with solid exposure to accounts payable and general ledger
Strong understanding of accounting processes and cycles
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work
Strong business and financial acumen
Excellent communication and time management skills
Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems
Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Collaborative team player
Must be available to work overtime during critical periods, especially month-end close
