We are seeking a Senior Events Manager to help accomplish mission-critical growth goals in the European market. This is a great opportunity to join a fun and dedicated team and make a meaningful contribution in a collaborative work environment and will report directly into the VP of Marketing.
About the role
Work with our Sales and Marketing teams to research which events such as trade-shows, conferences and summits Hostaway will sponsor, attend, or speak at as well as build relationships with event owners.
Nurturing the leads that we received from events and developing valuable content for them to build and strengthen a community of prospects.
Pre-event promotion via social media, email marketing, CRM database marketing, etc.
Negotiate terms and conditions and sponsorship deals for events.
Book venues, lodging and tickets.
Build and manage multiple project timelines.
Act as a liaison between marketing and sales for lead generation at events by strategizing with sales around prospecting efforts before during and after events.
Travel to events to manage all logistics on-site.
Organize side events that happen in parallel to main sponsored events.
Manage logistics for booth, gear, and swag to and from events.
Post-event responsibilities will consist of building an online community to nurture the leads from events, push marketing resources, and remain top-of-mind for community members.
Collect and report post-event data and analytics.
Coordinate, plan, and execute online events and webinars featuring Hostaway team members and external guests.
3-5 years of extensive experience in creating, project managing, and delivering a range of large-scale events.
Native level proficiency in French or Spanish with fluency in English
Can build and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Love to juggle! This role involves managing multiple events all at the same time with competing priorities.
Ability to negotiate and work with multiple external vendors.
Proficiency in email and social media marketing and CRM basics.
