We are seeking a Senior Events Manager to help accomplish mission-critical growth goals in the European market. This is a great opportunity to join a fun and dedicated team and make a meaningful contribution in a collaborative work environment and will report directly into the VP of Marketing.

About the role

  • Work with our Sales and Marketing teams to research which events such as trade-shows, conferences and summits Hostaway will sponsor, attend, or speak at as well as build relationships with event owners.

  • Nurturing the leads that we received from events and developing valuable content for them to build and strengthen a community of prospects.

  • Pre-event promotion via social media, email marketing, CRM database marketing, etc.

  • Negotiate terms and conditions and sponsorship deals for events.

  • Book venues, lodging and tickets.

  • Build and manage multiple project timelines.

  • Act as a liaison between marketing and sales for lead generation at events by strategizing with sales around prospecting efforts before during and after events.

  • Travel to events to manage all logistics on-site.

  • Organize side events that happen in parallel to main sponsored events.

  • Manage logistics for booth, gear, and swag to and from events.

  • Post-event responsibilities will consist of building an online community to nurture the leads from events, push marketing resources, and remain top-of-mind for community members.

  • Collect and report post-event data and analytics.

  • Coordinate, plan, and execute online events and webinars featuring Hostaway team members and external guests.

  • 3-5 years of extensive experience in creating, project managing, and delivering a range of large-scale events.

  • Native level proficiency in French or Spanish with fluency in English

  • Can build and maintain strong working relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

  • Love to juggle! This role involves managing multiple events all at the same time with competing priorities.

  • Ability to negotiate and work with multiple external vendors.

  • Proficiency in email and social media marketing and CRM basics.
