Equity Operations Manager
Figma is seeking a talented and experienced Equity Administration professional to join its growing Equity Operations team. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Equity Administration and will be an integral team member in facilitating and scaling Figma's equity incentive programs. This role will be focused on managing daily equity plan activity including option exercises and monthly RSU releases, grants, employee equity experience, and data integrity in Shareworks. You will have the opportunity to scale existing processes through collaboration with Payroll, HRIS, People Ops and Legal teams.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Own the day-to-day equity operations including RSU releases, option exercises, cancellations, and grant processing in Shareworks
Own the end-to-end integrity of our equity plan, performing monthly and quarterly reconciliations
Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Legal, People, and Accounting teams on equity-related programs and deliverables
Address employee inquiries about equity programs and provide education, ensuring exceptional service
Prepare and maintain equity-related documentation for SOX compliance and audit support
Lead and support key initiatives, including global expansion of equity operations and M&A integrations
Generate reports, data analysis and other materials to support company wide initiatives and legal, tax, and accounting compliance
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
6+ years of experience in equity administration, ideally at both late-stage private and public companies
Advanced Excel, G-Suite, reconciliation, and analytical skills
Ability to be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in managing complex data and transactions
Ability to be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Expertise in Shareworks (Morgan Stanley at Work) equity software platform
Demonstrated understanding of equity taxation for a global workforce
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation
Understanding of ASC 718 technical equity accounting
Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday

Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
