Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

The Total Rewards team strives to ensure each Stripe receives equitable and competitive compensation (cash, bonus, and equity) that is reflective of the geographies where Stripes work. We aim to align our compensation programs with Stripe’s business priorities and operating principles to attract, retain, develop, and engage our people.

What you’ll do

Stripe is looking for an equity professional to help manage and scale a world class global equity program. You’re a team player who is ready to roll up your sleeves and do the job right.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrity and accuracy of equity data in Shareworks including the equity plan and capitalization table

  • Accurately process equity activity, including grants, share issuances, RSU releases, option exercises, and stock purchase plan allocations, ensuring regulatory compliance

  • Maintain accurate participant data

  • Work and collaborate with cross functional business partners (accounting, tax, payroll, compensation, legal and others)

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual equity activity reconciliations

  • Have a user first mentality when helping Stripes

  • Foster exceptional equity participant experiences by creating presentations, answering inquiries, developing educational resources, and managing the internal equity site

  • Develop streamlined equity administration processes, system automations, and global tax compliance strategies

Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree

  • 3+ years of equity experience at a fast growing company, preferably in both the private and public sector

  • Advanced Excel, G-suite skills

  • Function autonomously and adapt swiftly within a dynamic setting, handling duties that span equity administration, participant education, global compliance and taxation

  • Experience with Shareworks and ability to learn new systems quickly

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience scaling equity at a fast growing company

  • Strong interpersonal skills, self motivated and customer service oriented

  • Exposure to international compliance and tax mobility

  • CEP Level 3 designation
