Summary:

As Engineering Manager, Integrations, you'll lead the charge in expanding our platform's reach. As the Engineering Manager, you will manage a team developing a robust, AWS-powered integration framework, enabling seamless connections with our financial partners. You will be responsible for mentoring and developing the team members. You’ll work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and execute on the product roadmap and directly contribute to our mission of delivering personalized, digital-first experiences that promote better financial health for our consumers. This role includes participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software products.

  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define and execute on the product roadmap.

  • Mentor and develop team members.

  • Conduct regular 1:1s with team members to provide feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.

  • Drive progress based on individual strengths and weaknesses.

  • Lead with empathy and foster a positive and supportive team environment.

  • Responsible for recruiting, leading, developing, and growing the engineering team.

  • Work with the team to identify and solve technical challenges.

  • Ensure that the team is following best practices for software development.

  • Keep up-to-date on the latest technology trends.

  • Work with other Engineering Managers to ensure that the team is well-coordinated and aligned with the overall company goals.

  • Participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation, providing timely response and resolution to production issues.

  • Extensive experience with AWS cloud technologies, specifically:

  • AWS Step Functions: Designing and implementing serverless workflows for orchestrating integration processes.

  • AWS Glue: Building and managing ETL jobs and crawlers for data transformation and loading.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering.

  • 2+ years of experience managing others.

  • Strong technical skills and experience in one or more programming languages.

  • Experience working with Agile development methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

  • Passionate about building high-quality software products.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$111,792 - $165,796 a year

Compensation Disclosure: This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
