The ideal candidate brings proven experience delivering projects from ideation to production that have created measurable business impact. Deploying strong technical leadership skills you will resolve complex dependencies and balance technical debt paydown, architectural improvements, and feature delivery to gradually improve overall velocity. You will maintain an active interest in team-members' professional growth and take opportunities to recognize achievements, delegate challenging projects, and foster an environment of learning. With a passion for effective planning methodologies, you'll collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve GitLab's planning capabilities.

    • Nurturing psychological safety on your team

    • Holding regular 1:1s, delivering feedback and conducting meaningful technical discussions

  • Improve product quality, security, and performance while maintaining high velocity

  • Foster technical decision making on the team, but make final decisions when necessary
