We are looking for a senior technical lead to help grow and scale the Software Engineering teams at COMPLY, in a rich and rapidly growing emerging environment. This role will report to the Senior Director of Software Engineering and will help in the delivery of future forward solutions and architecture. You will have technical expertise to help architect the future of our software engineering platform running in the cloud as well as leading a software sprint team. You will collaborate with various business units providing key insight into the software to drive future product growth and adoption. You will partner with business and product teams to ensure we can get predictive insights to promote the growth of our business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across product teams to define and prioritize delivery, ensuring a customer-centric approach.

  • Provide leadership to a software engineering team including QA.  Overseeing architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment processes.

  • Lead day-to-day development operations to ensure systems security, scalability, and reliability.

  • Conduct code reviews and offer constructive feedback to maintain code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.

  • Enhance the application roadmap to demonstrate ongoing business value and technical innovation.

  • Drive a culture of ownership, inclusion, learning, and excellence within the engineering team.

  • Foster the growth of a diverse Software Engineering team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field is mandatory.

  • 5+ years of direct leadership experience, including coaching, talent acquisition, and performance management.

  • Extensive full-stack development experience, particularly proficient in C# and .NET

  • Excellent communication skills, adept at navigating the organization and facilitating strategic discussions with key stakeholders.

  • Senior-level experience in leading, coaching, mentoring, and developing individuals and teams.

  • Proven track record in identifying and acquiring strategic talent, along with strategic resource planning and talent allocation across large organizations.

  • Proactively shares knowledge, expertise, and perspectives with team members and business partners.

  • Self-directed individual capable of setting clear team goals, ensuring accountability, and driving long-term technical roadmaps.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adeptness in making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in modern software development tools and practices, including version control systems (e.g., Bitbucket), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

  • Demonstrated experience in building and deploying scaled platforms and applications.

  • Expertise in defining and documenting coding standards.

  • Familiarity with Relational and NoSQL Databases, such as Sql Server, MySQL, Postgres, and ElasticSearch.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in financial services

  • Certifications: AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP.

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Redis, Jenkins

  • Experience with AI tools such as Github CoPilot, Cursor.AI, AWS Bedrock, etc.

$150,000 - $160,000 a year

The compensation range for this role is specific to the United States. It takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, training, licensure and certification, and experience. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role would be $150,000- $160,000 plus applicable bonus/benefits offerings, etc., as those similarly situated within the Company.
