  • Help produce effective messaging that clearly communicates FLI's positions in an evocative and informative manner.

  • Work with FLI comms team and leadership to generate and refine new content and commentary ideas for driving awareness and understanding of FLI issues.

  • Depending on seniority: Take ownership over large media campaigns, from conception to distribution.

Required qualifications, skills and qualities:

  • Demonstrated aptitude for communication and messaging across specific audiences and different stakeholder groups.

  • Excited by the prospect of joining a small but influential team looking to improve humanity’s future.

Preferred qualifications, skills and qualities:

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, English, journalism or related discipline.

  • Proven writing ability on issues relating to AI and its development/deployment.

  • In-depth understanding of how to develop scripts and storyboards for production.

  • Experience writing commentary for top-tier publications.

  • Speech-writing and ghostwriting expertise.

  • Experience managing large media campaigns.

Additional benefits include, health insurance, 24+ days of PTO per year, paid parental leave, 401k matching in the US, and a work from home allowance for the purchase of office supplies or equipment.

Application Process

Application Deadline: Monday 8th September 2025. Rolling applications may be considered after the application deadline if the position has not been filled.

Start Date: We'd like the chosen candidate to start as soon as possible after accepting an offer.

Please apply via our website. Email applications are not accepted.
