JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
The Director, Product Manager will be responsible for driving end-to-end product planning and execution throughout the Product lifecycle for one of our most strategic partners. This position will define and prioritize customer requirements and work closely with internal and external teams to ensure all revenue and stakeholder requirements are met.
Responsibilities
Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products, from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.
Lead and mentor a team of product managers who will drive project delivery as well as participate in partner ideation and concept analysis conversations
Leads all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.
Manages the delivery of continuous and effective services and ensures project completion is within budget and in accordance with contract requirements.
Manages migration strategies for legacy products.
Works closely with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps.
Defines functional and non-functional technical requirements and priorities with business owners and stakeholders.
Triage product defects and ensure proper ownership and delegation towards resolutions.
Manages compliance with all IT governance standards through approved tools, templates, policies, procedures and process leanings.
Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required
Technical background, with 10 years of product management experience required
7+ year experience with payments and money movement required including:
7+ years working in Fintech, or Banking technology industries with working knowledge of payments and consumer financial services.
5+ years implementing and/or supporting ACH (RDFI and ODFI) processing including understanding of the NACHA file format.
5+ years implementing and/or supporting instant payments (OCT, AFT, Ecommerce, etc).
Other payments experience highly desired including:
Prior experience implementing and/or supporting payment rails with MasterCard Send, Visa Direct, and/or Fiserv.
Experience implementing RTP/FedNow.
Payment Processor knowledge (PTS, First Data etc) and understanding of ISO 20022 messaging standards
Experience in managing an API-based B2B services
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of JIRA
Working knowledge of FinTech products and services required
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
POSITION TYPE
Regular
PAY RANGE
The targeted base salary for this position is $156,400 to $234,600 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
